Damn, so close but not a win for the Irish. I guess I have to be happy we made such a good game out of it. The Irish are back and will be even better next year. Good to see us playing at a high level again. I will be playing again tomorrow night so I can actually write about poker on weds. Talk to you soon..SJ

it was darn close and perhaps sucked more after momentarily tasting victory when the clock ran out or that it turns out Bush pushed Leinart into the endzone. we definitely can be proud of the team and Weis though. seeing Quinn bring the ball down the field for a touchdown that last 5 minutes was like the ND i remember. I watched the game in the lounge at the horseshoe in shreveport and was fortunate enough to find a few ND fans in the crowd. I left a bit hoarse after yelling at the tv several times, typical when i watch them play...and then hit the tables and was on tilt for the evening. went out half way in the tournament the next day so not a stellar weekend.
